What is love?

Saying I do love you,

Promising that your love is true,

Then leaving her after a month or two,

Is that love to you?

What is love?

Fulfilling lust and crave,

Proving that you’re strong and brave,

By beating your rivals to the grave,

Then leaving her babies to save?

What is love?

A mix of passion and emotion,

That leads to abortion?

Or rather just fun and curiosity,

That then leads to animosity.

What is love?

By caring and sharing to only her,

Forgetting your friends by making them foes,

Saying they disrupt the love world of you and her,

But then tomorrow she’ll make you cry of woes?

God…what is love?

Show us the true meaning of love,

Show us the straight and perfect way

The way towards Your blessings and love,

And the way who go not astray
